Leading international business and finance publisher “Institutional Investor” released its March 2012 “Country Credit Survey: Europe’s Woes Weigh on World” report.
The report unveiled a drop in Lebanon’s credit rating by 3.2 points on a semi-annual basis and by 1.8 points on a yearly basis to 32.5 as at March 2012, with 67.4% of surveyed economists expecting a mutation in the country’s political regime during the upcoming years.
In this context, Lebanon preserved itsinternational rank in terms of credit rating, positioning 105thworldwide, while slipping to the 14th place regionally from a previous rank of 13 as at September 2011.

تراجع التصنيف الإئتماني للبنان ب3.2 نقطة خلال فترة الستة أشهر المنتهية في آذار 2012 وب1.8 نقطة على صعيدٍ سنويّ إلى 32.5، مع توقّع 67.4% من المحلّلين الإقتصاديّين تغييراتٍ في النظام السياسي للبلاد خلال الأعوام القادمة. في هذا الإطار، حافظ لبنان على المرتبة 105 عالميّاً لجهة التصنيف الإئتماني (Credit Rating)، فيما تراجع إلى المرتبة 14 إقليميّاً مقابل 13 في شهر أيلول من العام 2011.
